Owan Association of Houston Joins other Organizations to Volunteer at the Houston Food Bank

One of the important pillars that we stand on as an association is *Service to the Community* we live in and back home. As Owan people, even in the diaspora, we love our neighbors and we derive joy from serving humanity. We instill in our children the act of service to the community by encouraging them to join us in volunteering.

In line with this, on Saturday 28th June 2025, our members led by the President, Financial Secretary and PRO went to volunteer at the Houston Food Bank, https://www.houstonfoodbank.org/ in Houston, Texas..

It was great to see members of the Owan Association of Houston stand side by side volunteers from many other organizations in the Houston area and together we packaged 7,647 meals.
