The Owan Association of Houston Marks Third Consecutive Year of Support for Fort Bend Rainbow Room

On Friday August 14th, 2026, the Owan Association of Houston (OAH) marked its third consecutive year of community partnership with a return visit to the Fort Bend Rainbow Room (FRR), located at the Child Protective Services (CPS) Department in Rosenberg, Texas.
 
The delegation was led to the presentation by the Interim Chair of the Community Engagement Committee, Mrs. Onyinye Airemen. Joining her were Vice President Mrs. Efe Enabulele, Dr. Nana Ojeiduma, Financial Secretary Mr. Enahoro Ogolo, Public Relations Officer Mr. Emmanuel Airemen, and Board Advisor Mrs. Catherine Obasuyi. Together, leadership presented a donation check to the facility’s management following an informative briefing on the center’s ongoing work delivering hope to vulnerable children in the CPS system and adults in the APS system.
 
During the visit, the team reiterated that OAH is comprised of indigenes from Owan in Edo State, Nigeria—a people renowned for their rich cultural heritage, spirit of friendship, and dedication to uplifting their local communities. Emphasizing OAH’s commitment to a long-term partnership with the FRR, leadership expressed enthusiasm for expanding their support beyond financial contributions to include warehouse volunteering and hands-on assistance in the months ahead.
