PROFESSOR MA-RIEKPEN JACOB EDEKIN EVBOGBAI (From Ogute-Emai) has been appointed as the Acting Vice Chancellor of Edo State University, Uzairue. Edo State. The appointment was approved yesterday by the University Governing Council under the leadership of Prof Emeritus T.O.K Audu. A statement issued and signed by Betcher Ekhosuhun, Esq, said the appointment took effect from 4th November, 2024. Professor Ma-Riekpen Jacob Edekin Evbogbai, is a renowned academic from Ogute-Emai.
As a distinguished scholar, Professor Evbogbai has an impressive track record. He previously served as the pioneering Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Edo State University Uzairue from 2015 to 2021 and later became the Director of the Professional Training and Development Center in July 2021. His expertise in Electrical and Electronic Engineering has earned him numerous accolades, including being appointed as a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Edo University Iyamho in 2016.With his wealth of experience in university administration and academic excellence, Professor Evbogbai is well-equipped to lead Edo State University, Uzairue, to greater heights.
