Five New Transformers to Owan Communities

Professor Julius Ihonvbere has facilitated the delivery of five additional 300kva transformers to Owan communities, aiming to enhance power supply in the federal constituency. This development comes less than two months after five 500kva transformers were provided to the area.¹

The latest transformers, delivered on March 9, will be installed in selected locations across the two Local Government Areas. Previously, four out of the five 500kva transformers were installed in communities such as Eme-Ora, Uzebba, Afuze, and Otuo, with the fifth one expected soon.

As the Leader of the House of Representatives, Prof. Ihonvbere has been actively involved in socio-economic initiatives in Owan. More interventions are anticipated in the coming weeks, according to his Chief Press Secretary, Samson Akhanieme.

Prof. Ihonvbere’s efforts align with his background as a scholar and politician focused on democracy, governance, and development in Africa.
